As soon as Malaysia’s borders were open, we grabbed the first opportunity to fly Ms. Gillian Howells Buonacorsi, the co-founder of Women in Transport UK Leadership Programmes, from the UK. The result? From 31 May to 1 June, the YTL Learning Academy hosted 30 inspiring top achievers and rising stars of YTL Construction at our very first face-to-face leadership programme, where we witnessed the application of various coaching methods during a two-day course.

Fondly known as Gill How, Gill has worked directly with a wide range of organisations and global consultancies, using workshop engagement methodologies that develop and stretch people, as well as strengths and positive change management approaches to develop capabilities and improve business performances.

Based on her past work and in line with the company’s Transformation initiatives, we carefully designed a programme which best suited our in-house audience.

Throughout the two-day course, it was interesting to witness the discoveries of behaviors in communication styles and inner “saboteurs” during the workshop. Gill was amazing at getting the participants to open up and interact! One thing that we noticed for sure, people are hungry to learn and we are here to help you grow.
