YTL Group: Deepavali Celebration

Happy Deepavali!

Deepavali is the beautiful festival of lights, commonly celebrated by Indians around the world. The word Deepavali is a Sanskrit word meaning “rows of lighted lamps”. This year it was celebrated on the 14^th of November.

Deepavali this year was a double celebration at Menara YTL. The Building Management team organised a Deepavali celebration at Level 7 on the 11th of November.

The gathering witnessed multi-racial staff from across the YTL Group getting together and celebrating Deepavali with colourful decorations and scrumptious food.

And on 13th November, YTL Construction made the celebration even more special by distributing a packed meal for almost 300 staff together with some delicious brownies for lunch to all staff who were working in the office.

The delightful lunch was a kind gesture from the management to show their appreciation towards their staff especially during difficult times, especially for those staff who could not be with their families during festive times. After all, the spirit of Deepavali is sharing goodness with others.
