School Safety Engagement

On 29th July and 19th August, SIPPYTL organised two virtual talk sessions for almost 100 primary school students from SJKT Ladang Kulai Oil Palm to discuss the importance of health and safety near the Gemas-JB Electrified Double Track Project (GJBEDTP) construction site.

In both sessions, our HSE Officer, Mathankumar Shanmugam, reminded the students of the importance of maintaining and prioritising their health and safety at all times. He also explained the meanings of common road signages displayed near our construction site in Johor and told the students how important it is to adhere to the road signage instructions.

Towards the end of the talk, we ran a quick pop quiz session to test the students’ understanding and were delighted to see how excited and engaged they were throughout.
