The partnership with Kwai Chai Hong is the first step in Yes’ efforts to bring technological changes to how Malaysia’s heritage and cultural legacy can be appreciated and enjoyed. This Chinese New Year, Kwai Chai Hong presents a whimsical and eclectic installation, themed “Poetic Spring Garden”. The installation, created in collaboration with local artist Jaemy C, titled “Wet Hot Spring Thing”, features hidden cryptic messages for visitors to decipher. Jaemy is famous for reimagining Chinese calligraphy in his artwork and exotic vivid visuals. The installation is inspired by the year of the Water Rabbit and aims to deliver tradition to the younger generation in a familiar, modern way through the use of visual arts.

This partnership is a great example of how Yes is staying steadfast in its commitment to enable ‘5G For All’ and how it is bringing 5G to the people in their everyday lives, letting them experience the infinite possibilities and potential that Yes 5G brings to each individual. This adds an elevated cultural experience to the visitors and connect better with the local businesses and communities by making technology more inclusive.

The Yes Wireless 5G Home Fibre device – the Infinite Gateway connectivity also extends to all 10 F&B outlets at Kwai Chai Hong. From January until March 2023, visitors of Kwai Chai Hong can scan a QR code at any of the three Infinite Gateway devices to opt for a free Yes 5G sim card or connect to the Yes 5G wireless fibre Wi-Fi connectivity for free.

Kwai Chai Hong will be open daily from 9am to 12am and the “Poetic Spring Garden” art installation will be available until 12th February 2023. Be sure to check out the Chinese New Year themed installation as well as other thematic installations and activities at Kwai Chai Hong this festive season.
