28 April 2022 was the 19th annual World Day for Safety and Health at Work. Here at YTL, occupational safety is definitely a priority. Because when working on a construction site, or repairing ERL trains for example, accidents can happen whether due to human error or just unpredictable weather (you’ll recall stories from past BTRT Award winners about landslides caused by heavy rain).

That’s why last month, two project sites – one at Bukit Raja and the other at ERL Maintenance Salak Tinggi – hosted a full day of talks and training dedicated to strengthening the safety and health culture. What made it even more exciting was that the lifting of COVID restrictions permitted this to be an in-person event! But safety and health at work don’t just refer to those in YTL Construction or ERL. It’s important for you too! We want to test how much you know about this topic in relation to your occupation. So we’ve put together a little quiz, featuring stunning photography from our very own YTL project and work sites. Enjoy!
