If there’s one thing I learned from working at Menara YTL, it’s how effortless it is to strike up a conversation about parking with anyone who drives to work.  It may seem a little overwhelming at first when you’re riddled with so many parking options to choose from. However, we come bearing good news as we’ve done some research on the parking choices within close proximity of Menara YTL. So, sit back, relax and enjoy a burden being lifted off your shoulders as we discuss the various parking options around Menara YTL.

1. Open car parks along Jalan Bukit Bintang

We’re pretty fortunate to be located right next to a few open parking lots. A general rule of thumb; the further the parking lot from Menara YTL, the more affordable it is. That being said, let’s get down to the list, shall we?

a. Open car park before Jalan Kampung

This open parking lot is priced at RM7 a day and is one of the furthest parking lots from the office but it’s one of the most reasonable parking alternatives. That being said, entering the open car park isn’t all that easy when you’re driving from Jalan Tun Razak. You would have to turn left into Jalan Imbi, turn left into Jalan Inai and take another (You guessed it!) left into Jalan Jati. Your closest landmark would be Metro Curry House so do keep an eye out for it.

b. Open car park beside Jalan Bukit Bintang Shell station & Kloé Hotel

Situated right next to Kloé Hotel and Jalan Bukit Bintang Shell station, this parking lot is priced at RM8 per day. Personally, I like the idea of this parking lot because it gives me the perfect excuse to make a quick stop at the McDonald’s drive-through at Shell station for a quick Oreo McFlurry fix.

c. Open car park after Jalan Bukit Bintang Shell station

Located right before the ever-busy Jalan Imbi, this cashless parking lot is priced at RM10 per day. A useful tip to keep in mind when crossing the road; try crossing further down Jalan Imbi to avoid speeding cars and motorcycles. Alternatively, you could use the zebra crossing along Jalan Bukit Bintang, walk towards Menara YTL and cross the street towards the building. It may take a little more time but it’s always better to be safe than sorry about road safety.  Season pass is also available for purchase at RM160 a month.

d. Open car park right next to Menara YTL

This open car park would be deemed the most convenient parking solution because it’s only a minute’s walk from Menara YTL. Priced at RM10 a day, the parking management also offers a monthly pass that can be purchased at RM190.80.

2. Open car park along Jalan Imbi

While this may be one of the most affordable parking choices on the list at RM6 a day, it would require you to walk a distance to reach the office as it’s situated opposite InnB Park Hotel. But, hey, it’s a great excuse to get your 10k steps a day in so it feels like a win-win situation to us.

3. Starhill Gallery car park

The Starhill Gallery is also another parking solution that can be considered. They offer an early bird promotion whereby any entry, between 7 am and 10 am with your exit time being anywhere between 4 pm and 8 pm on the same day, would cost RM10. You also have the option of requesting staff parking at RM200 a month. However, a one-off security deposit of RM100 is needed for the first month.

4. Lot 10 car park

Much like Starhill Gallery, Lot 10 also offers an early bird rate whereby any entry between 7 am and 10 am and with an exit time between 6 pm to 8 pm on the same day amounts to RM 10 per day. However, spaces are limited to 100 entries per day only so make sure you get there early to secure yourself a parking spot. They also offer the same staff parking option as Starhill Gallery.
