Eye on Tigers Exhibition by Save Wild Tigers and YTL

By September 21, 2024No Comments

Wild Tigers are being hunted for their skins, bones, and parts by the illegal poaching trade. The illegal trade in endangered species is worth around 70 RM billion every year. Additionally, the Tigers’ natural habitat is being decimated, which increases the risk of human/animal conflict points.

This year, YTL is once again proud to support Save Wild Tigers. Since our first major event in 2014 at the Majestic Hotel in KL to educate on anti-poaching activities – together with Save Wild Tigers and Wildlife Conservation Society – we continue to march on with our support for Save Wild Tigers.  However, we’re up against several challenges – an illegal wildlife trade network that spans the globe and is largely hidden from view, deforestation, habitat loss, and human-animal conflict. This is why increased awareness and action are so desperately needed.
