With the recent reopening of restaurants for dining in, we thought we would suggest a few places for a pick-me-up dessert!
1. Snowflake

This Taiwanese dessert place is divine on a hot afternoon, and is conveniently located near Menara YTL, in Pavilion. Build your own flavoured ice base (we like soy) and go from there with freshly made toppings! Best enjoyed over a long lunch break.
2. FROZEN by Ken

Be prepared to be greeted by neon lights upon entering Frozen, an ice-cream parlor in Bangsar. Frozen’s locally-inspired ice-cream flavours – did someone say petai? — are very much a highlight, and you would be able to experiment as much as you’d like.
3. KAKIYUKI

KAKIYUKI is the place to visit for kakigōri, a type of Japanese shaved ice dessert with fresh toppings, as well as other Japanese desserts.
4. Fluffed

You might have noticed by now that we are perhaps biased toward cold desserts. But for those with a preference for warmer items, look no further than Fluffed for waffles that will rock your world! We would recommend certain options, but in our humble opinion, they’re all pretty good.
5. Dew

Dew is a French-inspired patisserie located in the Telawi area, as well as the sister café of the well-known Jaslyn Cakes. With a selection of tarts and cakes that offer unique flavours – the lavender and lemon curd mousse cake is a favourite – it is the perfect place for a relaxing dessert.
