 6. Ikan Bakar Segar Nur Iman Bayu

Looking to satisfy your seafood cravings? Ikan Bakar Segar Nur Iman Bayu is the place for you. Located within close vicinity of Capitol Cafe and a 3 minutes’ walk from Pavilion, it’s not often you get to enjoy ikan bakar as low as RM6 (excluding add-ons) in the city and is exactly why this wonderful spot deserves a shoutout. With a variety of fish and dishes to choose from, we’re salivating even just thinking about it.

Here’s a tip for keeping lunch within your budget: Ask for the fish price before you pick your fish of choice as it fluctuates according to market prices.

 7. Restoran Jiang He

If you’re standing in a queue at Restoran Jiang He, along the shaded Jalan Padang and a short distance walk from the car park exit of the J.W. Mariott Hotel, chances are you’re there on a Monday or Wednesday when their famous fried chicken rice is on the menu for the day. For as low as RM9, have your tastebuds and tummy fulfilled by their scrumptious fried chicken which you have the option to choose with your chicken rice. Add-ons such as fried tofu and fried mushrooms are a great way to bump up your lunch hour gastronomic experience.
