Dating back to 1895, when Vilfredo Pareto, an Italian economist, uncovered that the majority of wealth (80%) was owned by a minority (20%) of the people, the 80/20 rule has captivated minds across disciplines. Pareto observed that 80% of the land in Italy was owned by 20% of the population, and after surveying other countries, he found the same applied abroad. For the most part, the Pareto Principle is an observation that things in life are not always distributed evenly. But it’s not just about numbers—it’s about unlocking your potential.
