This year’s YTL Group Sustainability Report strives to be more transparent with improved disclosure and tracking of our progress, which all lead to improving our positive impacts on the environment, our people, and local communities. Highlights

Wessex Water
Wessex Water has utilised nature-based solutions to tackle environmental challenges at strategically selected sites. By addressing these challenges, it could benefit both people and the environment. In addition, they have a 5-year project that aims to enhance biodiversity on land by restoring and creating priority habitats throughout the region.

YTL Construction
From their humble beginnings seven decades ago, YTL Construction has continued to evolve in embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within their organisation. To show their commitment to this cause, they have established numerous initiatives and programmes to help them on their journey.

YTL Foundation
YTL Foundation hosted the opening dinner for the AVPN Global Conference 2023. At the conference, Programme Director, Dato’ Kathleen spoke about the Teachers for Educational Equity (TfEE) programme and its benefits for Malaysian teachers and young learners. In addition, Dato’ Kathleen also spoke to Founder and CEO of Acumen, Jacqueline Novogratz and James Chen from the Chen Yet-Sen Family Foundation about shaping Philanthropy Leaders of the Future. YTL PowerSeraya
YTL PowerSeraya believes they have a responsibility to do what is right for the environment and future generations and has undertaken an array of energy transition initiatives and innovative endeavours to explore, develop, and implement low-carbon energy solutions for customers of Geneco in Singapore.

Malayan Cement Berhad
In response to the rising need for environmentally friendly building materials in the construction industry, Malayan Cement Berhad has been expanding their range of eco-friendly products. These products are produced with lower embodied carbon and contain even more recycled waste materials!
