The start of August marks the arrival of a significant and patriotic event towards the end of the month — Merdeka Day. This annual event brings together numerous organisations, each sending their contingent of marchers, creating a vibrant display of togetherness and unity in the spirit of Merdeka. It’s a time when people from all walks of life come together to celebrate our nation’s independence, forging bonds of camaraderie and solidarity that reflect the true essence of Malaysia.
Here’s your once-in-a-lifetime chance to be a part of this historical celebration! By signing up for this year’s Merdeka Parade at Dataran Putrajaya, you can expect:
- Transportation – Buses to training, rehearsals and D-day to Putrajaya will be provided with Menara YTL as meeting point
- Breakfast, snacks and drinks will be provided.
- Custom Uniforms (includes shirt, track bottom and branded shoes (2018 – Adidas, 2022 – Skechers, 2023 – 🤔) and custom t-shirt for the rehearsal
- Replacement day for Aug 31st holiday
- Certificate of participation personally signed by our Group Chairman
The current commitment from volunteers is as follows:
