Animal rain, ball lightning, snow at the equator, the pirate’s green flash – fact or fiction? Meteorology is the branch of earth science that studies the atmosphere and all its strange weather and climate phenomena, like the ones we just mentioned. And in conjunction with World Meteorology Day on 23 March, we wanted to share some of these interesting incidents with you, along with their explanations. How many can you get correct?
