Remember the lunch talk held recently on Deaf Culture and Sign Language awareness with Mr. Harry Chong?
In line with YTL Learning Acedemy’s Diversity, Equality and Inclusion initiatives, YTL Learning Academy is pleased to announce the launching of the pilot batch for Malaysian Sign Language Programme in partnership with YMCA KL.
The programme will be starting in March 2022. The programme outline for Level 1 is as follows:
Duration:Â A total of 16 hours (8 x 2hrs per session)
Content:Â
- Deaf language & culture
- Visual Gesture Communication (VGC)
- Vocabulary, alphabets & numbers
- Dialogue, making sentences & grammar
Available Seats: 15 pax per batch
Training Sessions:Â Every Friday (5 – 7pm)
*Note: Upon completion of Level 1, participants will qualify to advance to Level 2 programme which will be a total of 20 hours (10 x 2hrs per session)
