1. What is your job title?
I am the QAQC Section Head for Gemas-JB Electrified Double Track Project based at Section 4, Kulai , Johor.

2. How long have you been working for YTL Construction?
I worked with YTL for KL Sentral – KLIA, ERL Project based in Sg. Besi back in year 2000 to 2002. This is my 4th year with YTL after I was offered to join the Gemas-JB EDT Project in 2018.

3. What sort of duties do you have at work?
Overall, I lead and manage the QA/QC team and expertise to the overall Quality Management system, policies and standards to support proper and smooth execution of all Quality related activities in meeting the specified standards and requirements.

4. What’s something—big or small—that you’re really bad at?
Saying “NO” to people. I like to be always available for my friends and family. But at times it becomes overwhelming and I’m slowly working on it now and learning how to politely decline.

5. What’s your guilty pleasure?
Buying shoes gives me happiness albeit making me feel guilty as technically I don’t need as many or use all of them.

6. What led you to this career?
My passion towards construction industry.

7. What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Sympathetic, Leader and Passionate.

9. What’s one professional skill you’re currently working on?
To become a professional trainer especially on the quality related technical trainings provider to form a quality conscious team within the construction industry and to be a part of YTL’s Transformation 2.0 plan.
